What’s New in Connected Risk v26.1

AI-powered search, self-service dashboards, smarter collaboration — and a raft of reliability improvements.

Our newest release, 26.1, is one of our most user-centric updates yet. Where previous releases laid the foundations for Connected Risk’s AI capabilities, 26.1 puts powerful new tools directly into the hands of everyday users — from instant, intelligent search to fully personalised dashboards you can build without calling your administrator. Here’s everything you need to know.

AI-Powered Search — Find Anything, Instantly
Connected Risk’s second major AI capability goes beyond traditional keyword matching to scan deep within your application data — including the full contents of uploaded attachments — and returns a summarised, intelligent response in plain language. Ask your question naturally and get a direct answer, complete with clickable source references so you can jump straight to the original record or document.

The AI Search panel lives on the right-hand side of your screen, accessible from any page via the top menu. It retains its content as you navigate, so you can search, act on what you find, and refer back without losing your results. PDF sources can even be opened in an inline viewer.

AI Search is fully permission-aware — every response is built exclusively from data the searching user already has access to. And as your organisation adds more data, responses only get richer.

Note: AI Search is available to hosted clients only. Contact Support to enable it for your environment.

Your Dashboards, Your Way
Until now, creating a dashboard required administrator access. v26.1 changes that. Any user can now build their own personalised dashboard containing any combination of summary tables and charts — no admin involvement required.

Getting started is simple: click Add on any existing dashboard, name it, choose a layout, and save. From there, populate each tile with a new or previously created chart or table. Once saved, your dashboards appear as tabs at the top of the dashboard area and are accessible from the main menu under My Dashboards.

Smarter Collaboration in My Workspace
My Workspace has also received several meaningful upgrades. You can now mention colleagues directly in comments using @, just like the collaborative tools your teams already use. Selecting a Workflow Action opens a new detail panel showing its status and due dates without leaving My Workspace. Tasks and comments can both be edited inline — and edited comments are clearly labelled so everyone in the thread knows the content has changed.

Notifications — Under Your Control
Administrators now have a single switch to control the notifications experience across the organisation. The new Enable Notifications setting in Admin Configure Application hides the Notifications icon and stops in-app notifications when set to “No.” If you use the Microsoft Teams integration, this setting covers Teams notifications too.

Denser Tables & Smarter Chart Filtering
Row spacing in summary tables has been reduced throughout the application, making it easier to scan large datasets at a glance. For charts, you can now set a default filter value that applies automatically whenever a chart is displayed — on a Summary Page or in a User Dashboard — so users always land on a meaningful view without manually applying filters each time.

Reliability Improvements — What We’ve Fixed
26.1 also includes a comprehensive set of bug fixes across the platform: Power BI datasets with Metric columns now show correct data; several email formatting issues have been resolved; user selector dropdowns now populate correctly including newly added users; personalised charts now respect user permissions; Gauge charts now support decimal plot band thresholds; a hierarchy cloning duplication issue has been corrected; Workflow Actions now close as expected when sibling actions complete; the delegation experience has been overhauled with improved filtering, search, and a new proxy delegate security setting; comment edits are now recorded in the Audit Trail; Quick Panel radio button fields have been fixed; and a standard search error has been resolved.
